I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but it gets too cold, especially with the shared bathroom and kitchenette setup. However, the service left something to be desired, with issues like leaving our door open. The location by Calgary University was convenient for my needs, but the dining options were limited and of mediocre quality.

As an undergraduate student, the hotel room was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and good cable TV. However, the additional parking fee of $10 per vehicle per night made the room seem overpriced. The service staff at Aurora Hall were rude regarding parking inquiries but overall are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for university visits and accessing the Foothills Hospital, being close to an LRT station for easy downtown trips. The dining experience offered good quality hot and cold items, though it felt like a hostel at times. The facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, close to the train station and university campus, making it convenient. The room, although small, had some useful amenities but lacked direct communication with the front desk. The service was a letdown, with staff being polite but lacking empathy and at times, even rude. The dining experience was inconsistent, with disappointing options at the student dining center. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were satisfactory overall.

Staying at this hotel was like experiencing a cozy and convenient alternative to a traditional hotel stay. The rooms were great and comfortable, offering a private space with all the essentials one would need. The service was mixed, with some room for improvement in understanding guests' needs. The location was incredibly convenient, being situated inside the university campus and close to downtown Calgary. Dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the facilities met expectations.

The hotel offered me the 'solution' of charging an expensive rate to change my room, which was one of the corners between other rooms, locked off from another area where there was a shared bathroom and a shared kitchenette shared with the other lock-off bedroom in the same unit. However, it was convenient to open the shower door without hitting the bathroom door.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, albeit with an expensive rate for changing rooms.
Service
8.0
The staff was helpful, guiding us to the hotel and assisting with parking tickets we received for parking in the wrong area of the nearby parkade. They were attentive and effective overall, although there was an instance of rudeness at Bistro Alma.
Location
9.0
The location was A+ amazing, being exceptional and tucked away on the University of Calgary's campus in a quiet spot. While the proximity to downtown Calgary was convenient, it was slightly lacking in free parking options.
Dining
7.0
The dining was mediocre the first morning but slightly improved the second day. Despite offering yogurt, bottled juice, and other goodies, the pricing of $10 per person felt a bit high, especially considering the additional cost for parking.
